The Nordic AI young researcher symposium is a two-day conference type event. The main activities included in the symposium organisation are:
The panel debate will be organized between the keynote speakers and the business sector. The goal of the debate is to discuss overlapping between academia and the private sector regarding the AI research, trustworthiness and ethical perspectives.
The keynote lectures are aimed to provide the state of the art knowledge about a specific topic related to AI. Lectures will also aim to broaden the research views in specific areas and will provide information about new methods that can be used in investigating specific research problems.
A set of short oral presentations from selected PhD students/Postdocs will be an integral part of the program. Each PhD/young researcher will receive 15 minutes to present their PhD project/current research and 5 minutes for questions/discussion. This will provide an opportunity for young researchers to present their research. View the list of invited speakers and project titles here.
These exhibitions and poster sessions are intended to connect young researchers with the business sector. Companies that work and develop AI based solutions will get an opportunity to present solutions together with the PhD students and researchers. The selection of the demos and posters for the exhibitions will be done by the committee of the symposium. See the virtual posters here.
