Kjersti Engan is a professor at the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department at the University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway. She received the BE degree in electrical engineering from Bergen University College in 1994 and the M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in 1996 and 2000 respectively, in electrical engineering and information technology from the UiS. She is the leader of the Biomedical data analysis lab - BMDLab - at UiS ( uis.no/bmdlab ) She is a senior member of IEEE.
